About Mark Brownlee, brand storyteller
Mark Brownlee is a fractional Chief Brand Storyteller who helps to level the playing field for the world's worthy causes by equipping them with the brand storytelling tools they need to succeed.
I have more than 15 years of experience as a journalist (CBC, Ottawa Citizen, the Canadian Press and the Ottawa Business Journal), brand strategist (Banfield Agency) and product marketer (CIRA).
This unique experience allows me to build strategic brand narratives, design strategies that help them to use stories to their advantage and create marketing campaigns that make your brand part of a larger story – one that resonates more closely with audiences.
I have worked with organizations in the B2C, B2B, non-profit and government sectors, including: Get Cyber Safe, Public Safety, Carleton University, Klipfolio and CIRA.
My love of storytelling also extends to fiction writing (I am the author of two novels and am currently working on a third) and music (I have released three albums and one EP).
I am the founder and fractional Chief Brand Storyteller at Robin’s Nest, an umbrella brand that explores new ways of using the power of storytelling to help unlock brand growth.
